Rare Earth Prices Stabilize According SMM Analyses

SMM March 7 News: Today, rare earth market prices remained generally stable. Specifically, the price of Pr-Nd oxide stabilized at 439,000-442,000 yuan/mt, dysprosium oxide prices remained unchanged at 1.69-1.71 million yuan/mt, and terbium oxide prices stayed stable at 6.46-6.54 million yuan/mt. The price of gadolinium oxide continued to hold at 163,000-165,000 yuan/mt, while holmium oxide prices dropped to 460,000-466,000 yuan/mt, and erbium oxide fluctuated between 295,000-299,000 yuan/mt.

In the metal market, Pr-Nd alloy prices stabilized at 538,000-542,000 yuan/mt, and dysprosium-iron alloy remained steady at 1.64-1.66 million yuan/mt. Meanwhile, terbium metal prices held firm at 8.09-8.15 million yuan/mt. Gadolinium-iron prices stabilized at 159,000-160,000 yuan/mt, while lanthanum-cerium metal remained in the range of 16,500-18,500 yuan/mt. Currently, low-priced supplies in the rare earth market are difficult to procure, with few low-price offers for oxides and limited willingness from factories to sell at low prices, leading to an overall stable market trend. In the metal market, quotes are scarce, and inquiries for lower prices are relatively active, but transaction performance remains to be observed. In the short term, rare earth prices are expected to remain stable. " Source: Shanghai metals Market"
