Tajikistan And Kazakhstan Cooperation To Extract REE

The Tajik Rare-Earth Metals Company and Kazatomprom signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in extraction and processing of uranium and rare-earth metals, Kazatomprom company said.

The companies will conduct prospecting, extract and process uranium and other critical elements together.

Research projects, introduction of innovative technologies and training of specialists are planned also.

"We are aimed at promising joint projects, which will bring a significant benefit for Kazakhstan and Tajikistan," Kazatomprom Chairman Meirzhan Yusupov said.

The delegation of the Tajik Rare-Earth Metals will visit Kazakhstan in the nearest time to explore production capacity of Kazatomprom . Source:  AKIpress News Agency:
